Q: What is TEFL in China?
A: The TEFL in China training program is organized by the Information Research Center, of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA). The TEFL in China certification is authorized by the department of Cultural and Educational Experts, of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA), and is officially recognized throughout China. Q: Why do I need to take TEFL in China?A: Firstly, TEFL in China is guaranteed to be recognized throughout China. Some of the TEFL certificates people get from overseas are not recognized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA). Secondly, the curriculum of TEFL in China is designed specifically to teach Chinese students English. It's more localized. Thirdly, this certificate will make your application of the Foreign Expert Certificate (FEC) much easier. Q: What do I expect to learn?A: This program includes:- Teach English effectively as a foreign language in China;- Understand and align their work with the Chinese education system;- Adapt to Chinese culture;- Adjust their teaching style according to the learning habits of Chinese students; etc. Q: Who will be my instructors？Are they qualified?A: All our instructors are fully trained and authorized by the department of Cultural and Educational Experts, of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA). Q: When does the class start and end every day? Do we have breaks?A: It’s a 7-day training. The class starts at 8:30AM and ends at 5:00PM every day. Both morning and afternoon sections have a 20 minutes break. The lunch break is from 12:00PM until 1:30PM. Q: How many days do I need to stay in the Hotel? When to check-in?A: Again it is a 7-day training. Since the class starts very early in the morning, we highly recommend you to check-in one night before the first day of training (on Aug. 21st). Q: What’s the rate per room for each day? Do I have a discount?A: For people who come for the TEFL training, the hotel offers a discount rate at 250RMB per night per room. Q: Does the hotel provide breakfast?A: Breakfast is hotel paid if you live there. And you can use the fitness facilities in the hotel as well. Q: How about my lunch and dinner? Can I eat in the hotel? How much would that be?A: The hotel has a restaurant. They have variety offerings. Also, there is a café and a convenience store right next to the hotel.
